In the mid-nineteenth century, the house was frequently visited by A.E. Housman, finding the valley landscape inspiration for his early poetry.
Built-in 2007 The RIBA award-winning Garden Room is a highly contemporary space looking out over the ever-changing tableaux of the arboretum garden.
2016 saw the establishment of the Woodchester House Flock of rare breed Cotswold sheep, providing the wool for our range of yarns.

London is approximately a 2 hour drive, Heathrow Airport 1 ½ hours and Paddington Station is 1 ½ hours by train.
